These booklets were created for teaching of the full text of Romeo and Juliet to Y10/11. We created three different writing booklets for different sets. All students study the same core knowledge, but the sequence of tasks, the extra scaffolding, models and practice have been tailored to the needs of the students in different classes.

AQA GCSE Power and Conflict Poetry Anthology
These booklets were created for the teaching of poems from the Power and Conflict Poetry Anthology. In my school, students in KS4 were set. Booklet A was used with top sets, Booklet B with mid sets, and Booklet C with lower prior attaining students in our support groups. All students study the same core knowledge, but the sequence of tasks, the extra scaffolding, models and practice have been tailored to the needs of the students in different classes. I do also have booklets for other poems that aren't included within these ones. These booklets are used with Y10 students. As with the other booklets, Booklet A is used with top sets, Booklet B with mid sets and Booklet C with support groups (LPAs). All students read the same challenging extracts but have different tasks and different levels of scaffolding depending on the group.

Using the same core knowledge as the unit plans, these are full of revision tasks, designed to support Y10 and 11 students with revision for their English literature exams.
Grade 5+ Guide
Designed for students who need the most practice on the most important knowledge during Y11 in order to help them secure a minimum of a Grade 5.
Grade 7+ Guide
Designed for students who need additional tasks to stretch them in Y11 in order to help them secure a minimum of a Grade 7.
